Pray

We began with a prayer. Our community is prayer.

Prayer is relationship. Intimacy.

Prayer is as natural as breathing.

God. And you.

Asking. Waiting. Listening. Trusting.

Jesus prayed himself. Prayer works.

Every day that the Maranatha Office is open our administrator, and any volunteers present, usually pray at midday for 10 to 15 minutes. During Advent Maranatha Members are being called to join online (on Zoom) for an hour of silent prayer in the morning and at lunchtime, and members will have received an email with the link for this. Consequently we will not be livestreaming the regular lunchtime prayers on this web-page through December.

Meanwhile, you can view the prayers from 30th November here and the order of service is available here ➤

Got the answers?

Be humble. Pray. God will speak to you.

Is peace in your heart?

Be still. Pray. Peace will come.

Need help with a problem? Someone you know in pain?

Be open. Trust. Pray.

God will show the way. He already has.

God’s purpose. God’s presence. Do you sense it?

Quiet. Listen. Pray.

Pray and pray again.

God will reveal Himself. One way or another.

Try it.
