JESUS, Healer of Hearts

All are welcome to join in this special weekend of worship, fellowship, prayer and rest in the beautiful surroundings of rural County Cork. There is opportunity to stay at Coolcower House for those not living locally.

Many are struggling today with the mental impact of stressful circumstances – financial concerns, work-related pressures, unemployment, worrying trends of lawlessness and news of global unrest. Levels of anxiety and depression are at an all-time high, even in children. The greatest threat to mental health is broken hearts – relationship break-down, loneliness and isolation, insecurity, fear, loss of purpose and hope – all exacer-bated by the increasing influence of social media.

We have a God who knows all our struggles and who reaches out to heal us. “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart” (Ps 34.18). Jesus has already come; he has suffered with and for us and he continues to share in our brokenness and pain. He alone can truly heal broken hearts through His tender, forgiving love.

We look forward to a new creation where there will be no more pain, no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, where God will wipe away every tear from our eyes (Rev 21.4). And we can experience something of that now as we pray together, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. No-one, however broken, is be-yond the healing power of God’s love.

Our weekend will start with an evening meal on Friday 8th May and will consist of a programme of worship, teaching, sharing and prayer, finishing on Sunday 10th May at 4pm. All refreshments and meals are provided within the cost of the weekend, but accomodation is not included. If you require accommodation then please indicate this below and we will contact you.

The price for the full weekend is €150 (£130).
Saturday only €80 (£70).

Please note that in the event of your having to cancel less than 5 days before the start date we will normally have to charge the full cost of the weekend, because we have to pay that amount to the retreat house. If a cancellation is made earlier, the fee for the weekend can be refunded, less £30 admin charge.
