Hearing the Still Small Voice of God

In a world bombarded by noise and contradictory voices, the Lord’s call to His people remains the same as it was spoken through the Biblical prophets: “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life.” (Is 55.3). But how do we hear His still, small voice? Mother Teresa taught that the starting place is silence. In the ‘silence of the heart’ we can hear God’s voice and be filled with Him. Brother Roger of Taizé said that in a noisy world, silence is the language of God.

This weekend retreat, in the beautiful surroundings of Llandudno, in the prayer-filled Loreto Centre, offers the opportunity to come away from the demands of everyday life, to spend time in quietness. Together we will share in worship, teaching and listening to the One who is yearning for us to draw close to Him. Whether you are practised in hearing God’s voice, or wanting to learn, there is a place of welcome for you.

Full payment with booking = £235 per person.
Full board from evening meal on Friday until Sunday afternoon including refreshments.
Please note that in the event of your having to cancel less than 5 days before the start date we will normally have to charge the full cost of the weekend, because we have to pay that amount to the retreat house. If a cancellation is made earlier, the fee for the weekend can be refunded, less £30 admin charge.
