Jesus teaches His followers to pray, “Our Father…your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Is this a prayer which we leave God to answer, or do we have a part to play in bringing God’s kingdom to earth? As followers of Jesus, we can change the spiritual climate of nations!
In the book of Genesis, we read about Jacob’s dream, of a stairway from earth to heaven with angels ascending and descending on it. Jesus mysteriously referenced this in a conversation with Nathanael, “I tell you the truth, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down on the Son of Man, the one who is the stairway between heaven and earth.” (Jn 1.51).
During our weekend of worship, teaching, sharing and prayer ministry, we will explore what it means to live at the juxtaposition of heaven and earth, as those who are ‘in Christ’, and how we can establish the patterns of God’s will in heaven on earth.
Full payment with booking = £235 per person.
Full board from evening meal on Friday until Sunday afternoon including refreshments.
Please note that in the event of your having to cancel less than 5 days before the start date we will normally have to charge the full cost of the weekend, because we have to pay that amount to the retreat house. If a cancellation is made earlier, the fee for the weekend can be refunded, less £30 admin charge.
