Maranatha - Living

Being Formed in the Image of Christ

God has chosen to reveal Himself in the person of Jesus. Followers of Jesus are called not only to do what He did but to be His Body, bearing the fruit of His Spirit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control, in the world.

In the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of Beechwood Court we will share together what this means for our lives today in a society which is increasingly turning its back on Jesus.

About the venue

Beechwood Court is situated on the lower slopes of Conwy Mountain, with magnificent views over the Conwy estuary. From its extensive grounds there is direct access onto the mountain and it is also within walking distance of the historic town of Conwy and its castle. Many people have found this a place where their faith has been encouraged.

Weekends in our own words...

It wasn't what I was expecting. ‘That's what you’ve said about every Maranatha retreat or conference you've been on’, I was told by a friend. Maybe that’s because it sums up very well what a Maranatha Weekend is all about – allowing God to do what He wants, being willing to listen to what He's saying and to allow the structure and content to fit in with His agenda.”
