Marantha - Teaching

A Teaching Community

Equip the Saints

‘Equipping the saints’ (Eph 4:11-13) was a prophetic word given to our Community. It has informed a deep desire to equip and strengthen each other in our understanding of God and the gifts He's given us. As we continually learn we willingly share in that learning.

Simplicity

We believe that God has told us to seek Him in simplicity. We are committed to teaching the basic elements of the ways of Jesus with simplicity. Jesus himself used simple words like ‘come’, ‘go’, 'seek', and 'find'. We endeavour to follow His approach.

Life is learning

God is a faithful and constant teacher. Our specific training activities and teaching resources are by no means the full extent of how we learn. Our whole lives are a teaching experience where God uses our everyday circumstances and situations to bring us to greater understanding of Him.

More than knowledge

We believe that the end goal is not knowledge itself. Our teaching must always lead us to a closer relationship with God and a greater enjoyment of Him, and not just lead simply to the acquisition of knowledge.

Words given to our Community...

“The Maranatha people effectively live and proclaim the Gospel as public truth.”
